Perform Dustbinder 1 is an unpigmented water-based floor treatment agent (dustbinder). Suitable for floors such as artificial concrete, brick, slate, terrazzo (cement mosaic), etc.
Perform Dustbinder 1 will protect against dust formation, wear and dirt. It penetrates into the surface layer and, after it has hardened, provides a silky smooth and easy-to-clean surface. Apply it with a polish applicator, roller, rubber rake or similar. Normally two coats are sufficient.
Drying time: Surface dry after 60 min, can withstand light traffic after 24 hours and heavier traffic after 72 hours.
Coverage: 20 -30 m² per liter/coating
If the concrete is newly cast, it must harden at least 30 days before you can start the treatment.
The cement skin must be removed. The treatment should not take place at temperatures
below + 5° C.
Is it an older concrete floor - Surface grinding is done to remove the top layer
of a concrete floor.
There are different structures on concrete:
Rough texture:
Smoothed surface or brushed surface.
Medium rough texture:
Stripped surface, boarded surface or rough smoothed surface.
Fine texture:
Finger-licked surface or machine-sanded surface.
Reset concrete surfaces that are coated in one of the following ways :
Chemical resetting - Paint remover, Perform Concrete Cleaner.
Mechanical resetting by demolition, grinding, blasting
Vacuum and suck up any water.
Grease and oil residues shall be removed before treatment.
Recommended dosage and approach:
Dilute it 1:1 with water on the first treatment and apply undiluted on the second treatment for best results.
If underfloor heating is present, it shall have been switched off 24 hours before treatment and shall be switched off 24 hours after treatment.
pH in concentrate about 7,0. Store it frost-free.
